In June 2024, we hosted the exhibition Faim De Siècles (Hunger of the Centuries) at our premises on Rue de Stassart. This was the final project for the Digital Art course at ESA Saint-Luc Brussels.
Conceived as a sensitive response to a global context marked by ecological, political, and social crises, the exhibition offered a more poetic approach and exploration of the concept of “fin de siècle.” Faced with contemporary uncertainties, wars, extractivism, and feelings of gloom, students were invited to question their relationship to the world, to others, and to the future.
The project brought together various audiovisual works by fourteen young artists. These collective and experimental creations explored new narratives and imaginaries, reflecting the different questions that a young generation has about our world.
By hosting Faim de Siècles, we were able to affirm our commitment to and support for young creators by offering a space for visibility to emerging artists.This event brought arts education closer to the Brussels scene while presenting socially engaged digital creations to the public.
